To say my experience at Mama Gaiam was a good one is an understatement! The owner of the shop was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He also gave me amazing breath work, Qigong and meditation advice. The quality of the crystals is unlike anywhere I’ve been before and affordable. There’s no question I recommend this place 100%!

This is a very welcoming and spiritual place run by his owner Max. I wanted to get some stone bracelets and I ended up learning much more about metaphysical phenomena, crystals, guided meditation events and more. Max is a very knowledgeable meditator, yogi and Buddhist practitioner. […] His garden is ideal for spiritual events, classes and workshops.

I’m so lucky I stumbled across this shop. The owner helped me find a beautiful crystal in my modest price range that was perfect for my daughter, and did a video showing her how to use it to meditate. So much better than an “I <3 NY” keychain. The space behind the shop is beautiful, as well.

I had a fascinating conversation with Max. He took the time to explain how his physics and mathematic background informs the sonic healing ceremonies he hosts in his lab. Would highly recommend you check it out if you are in the mood for an uplifting conversation, in the market for crystals or just to appreciate a pleasant sensory experience.
